Can Deer Park® water bottles be recycled?

Yes, our bottles are recyclable* through recycling services. In fact, keeping plastic out of the environment is an urgent priority for us. That’s why we’re rescuing millions of pounds of plastic and transforming it into new bottles. When you recycle, you’re helping to make a better tomorrow for our communities and our planet.

What does Deer Park® do to ensure its water quality?

Every drop of our water undergoes a rigorous quality assurance process using state-of-the-art programs to ensure food safety and deliver great water, sustainably.

Why is it important to drink water?

Of course, drinking water is a delicious and refreshing way to satisfy your thirst. But when you consider that the adult body consists of around 60% water, you’ll see why it’s essential for maintaining good health and overall well-being.

Can the product be used beyond the “Best By” date?

If you’re looking for the best taste and quality, drink it by the “best by” date. It’s also a good idea to store it in a clean, cool, odorless environment away from direct heat or sunlight.

Do I need to refrigerate the product after opening?

If you are thirsty, go ahead and drink your individually sized water right away. But if you want to save some for later, it can be stored for up to two weeks in the refrigerator. For larger bottles, like our 1-gal size, pour the water into a glass or reusable bottle — drinking directly from the bottle may affect its quality and freshness.

Where can I find the manufacturing code?

The date code on the bottle is near the label.

How do I read your manufacturing code?

There are two lines of printed characters. The first nine numbers of the first line are the date of manufacture: The first two are the month, the next two are the day of the month, and the next two are the last two numbers of the year. The next three numbers are the Julian date of manufacture. That is the day of the year from 001 (January 1) to 365-66 (December 31). The next four characters consist of the letters WF or WC followed by two numbers. This code shows the manufacturing plant. The last number is the production line. The first four numbers on the second line show the time of manufacture. BB, stands for “best by,” followed by the date.
