MADEBETTER® IS OUR COMMITMENT

As a company that depends on the health of our natural resources, we take responsibility for helping protect them. Our commitment begins by helping conserve the springs where we source our water. It continues with our efforts to reduce waste with better bottles that can be recycled* and, in some cases, bottles that have been made from 100% recycled materials. And ultimately, we’re committed to supporting our local communities.

Recycling Matters

Our bottles are designed to the standards of the Association of Plastic Recyclers to be recyclable, including labels that peel off easily to avoid contaminating the recycling stream. Approximately 30% of PET bottle plastic is recycled in the U.S. Together, we can increase this number. The more plastic you recycle, the more plastic we can use to create new recycled bottles. The result? Less plastic waste is generated.

Recycling properly can be a little confusing. If you need tips, look for the How2Recycle info on our labels, visit berecycled.org, or use the chat bot on recyclecheck.org for details specific to your community.

Caring for Our Water

Deer Park® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water is sourced from natural springs that span across and around the Eastern Seaboard. Check out Eric in our video. He is part of the hydrogeologists and field experts who monitor water flows, track precipitation levels, and even study the areas’ biodiversity.

On the distribution side, our Pennsylvania bottling facilities are some of the only sites in the U.S. to be independently certified or verified to the Alliance for water stewardship (AWS) Standard. This demonstrates our use of water is socially equitable, environmentally sustainable and economically beneficial.

It all adds up to one thing: We want to make sure our springs and surrounding areas are sustainably managed — so you’ll always get high quality water delivered to you.
